The fate of our ancestors‘ legacy should not be indifferent to any of us. Our monuments have been created for centuries, they are the key to our past, a well of knowledge and understanding, evidence of the wisdom of previous generations and a reminder of who we are and where we come from.
No cultural nation should allow these monuments to the past to disappear due to lack of interest, because they are not here just for us, but should be preserved mainly for the generations that will come after us.
That is why the RONDEL Association was established. We are trying to ensure that one unique monument – Čabraď Castle – does not disappear and is not lost from our history. We collect fragments of its history, connecting them into a story in the same way that we are trying to fight for the preservation of every stone from its masonry.
