Computer reconstructions

Since the castle disappeared before photography began to be used, no photographs of the state before the fire have survived. Therefore, we are limited to a few drawings that capture the castle more or less faithfully.

Fortunately, current technology allows us to unleash our imagination and create visual reconstructions of the castle from contemporary photographs. The reconstructions were preceded by long hours of study of the preserved remains of the castle, so that the details – chimneys, windows, etc. – could be faithfully depicted.

So let’s go on a little excursion together and see what the castle might have looked like.
